After completing the first few projects from 2016 to 2021, we set out to find a better answer to cost inflation and long construction timelines.
NX Ventures has since invested years of research and prototyping to establish a modular platform, with the goal of delivering housing faster, more predictably, and at a higher level of execution.
The platform is grounded in NX’s Berkeley housing pipeline, hands-on project execution, and close collaboration with partners across architecture, engineering, manufacturing, and construction.
Over time, our projects and methodology have evolved from stick-frame construction to wood modular delivery to a steel modular platform.
